THE
MESSAGE OF
THE STARS
"The
term
ESOTERIC
ASTROLOGY
is
derived
from
the
idea
that
behind
the
outer
form
of
ordinary
astrology
(exoteric
astrology)
there
is
an
esoteric
form
which
proceeds
from
an
entirely
spiritual
realm
of
being.
It
has
long
been
recognised
by
the
more
thoughtful
astrologers
and
historians
of
astrology
that
much
of
the
philosophy
underlying
their
science
properly
belongs
to
the
ancient
wisdom
once
taught
in
the
Mystery
Centres
of
Egypt
and
Greece,
which
has
now
become
not
only
exoteric,
but
even
badly
mutilated
in
the
process.
It
is
equally
apparent
that
the
stream
of
esoteric
knowledge
is
still
available
to
those
who
are
prepared
to
make
the
considerable
effort
required
to
reach
into
the
spiritual
realms
from
which
it
proceeds.
Many
astrologers
have
indeed
made
this
effort,
through
the
guidelines
set
out
in
the
Neoplatonic,
Rosicrucian
and
Qabbalistic
forms
of
astrology,
with
the
result
that
it
has
been
possible
for
them
to
formulate
some
of
the
ancient
laws
of
esoteric
astrology".

ROSICRUCIAN
FUNDAMENTALS |
|
The Rosicrucian Order is an ancient Mystic Fraternity formed in the
year 1313 by a high spiritual teacher having the symbolical name "Christian
Rosenkreuz": Christian Rose Cross. It was his mission to prepare a new
phase of the Christian religion to be used during the coming age now at
hand, for as the world and man evolve so also must religion change. The system
of worship suited to the spiritual needs of our forebears is unsuited to our
altered intellectual condition. Therefore, the great spiritual entities in
charge of evolution, change the religions of the world in harmony with the
passage of the marching orbs in the heavens.

WHO ARE THE ROSICRUCIANS ? by Alexandre David |
Who are the Rosicrucians? Were they an organization of profound thinkers rebelling against the inquisitional religious and philosophical limitations of their time or were they isolated transcendentalist united only by the similarity of their viewpoints and deductions? Where was the "House of the Holy Spirit, "in which , according to their manifestoes, they met once a year to plan the future activities of their Order? Who was the mysterious person referred to as "our Illustrious Father and Brother C.R.C."? Did those three letters actually stand for the words "Christian Rosie Cross"? Was Christian Rosenkreutz, the supposed author of the Chymical Nuptials, the same person who with three others founded "The Society of the Rose Cross"?

THE AQUARIAN AGE by Elsa M. Glover, PhD |
The Aquarian Age is dawning, and its influence will gradually free men from the bondages of mind and spirit which they have suffered for thousands of years. Elsa M. Glover's The Aquarian Age foretells of these sweeping changes to come, offering hope and assurance that the freed mind and spirit will soar to yet undreamed-of heights. Dr. Glover explains how, during the Piscean Age, man's ignorance of his potential kept him from developing his creative abilities, man's lack of self-esteem kept him dependent on others for approval, and man's fear of the unknown kept him from wanting to explore new ideas or even associate with anyone who might have a different perspective on life than his own. Dr. Glover shows how the Aquarian Age will, however, help people to break out of the shell of ignorance, lack of self-esteem, and fear so that they can become, for the first time in history, truly free. As people become free to explore their own inner natures, the world around them, and other peoples, unprecedented advances will be made in self-actualization, scientific understanding and invention, and universal love.

THE MYSTIC AND THE OCCULT IN MAX HEINDEL'S WRITINGS by Charles Weber |
|
.
. Two words regularly crop up in Max Heindel’s writings. They are at once complements and opposites of each other. Occult occurs far more often than mystic, and for good reason. Rosicrucian Teachings are principally occult and not mystic. Moreover, the Rosicrucian Fellowship was founded for the purpose of promulgating occult knowledge, as contained most completely in the Rosicrucian Cosmo-Conception. The student may have experienced some confusion with the use of these two terms in Heindel’s oeuvre. By exploring that use in context we hope to bring clarity both to their intended meaning and to key concepts in the Rosicrucian Philosophy. |

NEW BIRTH THROUGH REGENERATION by Corinne Heline |
. All of these Mystery Orders are" formed on cosmic lines"; thus the thirteen Initiations correspond to the twelve constellations and their spiritual head of the zodiac; also their planetary rulers, some of which remain to be discovered. It is interesting to speculate that in the Greek Zodiac the Pleiades were considered to be a thirteenth consttellation until a late date. The great Christian type of the Mystery School is that of the Christ ,with His twelve Apostles. The Rosicrucian Order is also compos:ted of twelve Brothers and an esoteric thirteenth, the revered Founder, symbolically designated Christian Rose Cross after the work he came to do for the world.
This is the first Part of Chapter XII from Corinne Heline's book "OCCULT ANATOMY AND THE BIBLE" published by New Age Bible & Philosophy Center, 1139 Lincoln Boulevard , Santa Monica, CA, 90403. Her complete works are available through this Esoteric Center.

ELLA WHEELER WILCOX AND MAX HEINDEL by Audrey Glover |
|
Many Rosicrucian students will remember Ella Wheeler Wilcox as the poet of whom Max Heindel wrote in The Rosicrucian Cosmo-Conception, "Ella Wheeler Wilcox, with the true compassion of all far advanced souls, champions this occult maxim ( There is One Life - the Life of God ) in the following beautiful words," and them quotes her poem, "The Voice of the Voiceless." But probably few know that she met Max Heindel and conversed with him, as she relates in her autobiography, "The Worlds and I", published shortly before her death in 1919.

The contest of Light and Darkness in the physical world is closely connected in the scriptures of the different religions with the contest of the powers of spiritual light and life against those of darkness and ignorance; that this truth is universally spread among all peoples in all ages. The myths of the dragon-slayers embody the same truth, where the Greeks tell of the victory of Apollo over Python, and of Hercules over the dragon of the Hesperides, the norseman tells of the contest of Beowulf slaying the fire-drake, of Siegfried slaying the dragon Fafner, and of St. George and the dragon.

Hermes over Typhon, JAKnaap.
In our materialistic age these truths are temporarily relegated to oblivion or regarded as fairy stories without any basis in truth; but the time will come and is not far distant when these relics will again be restored to honor as embodiments of great spiritual truths.

THE
ORDO ROSACRUZ AND
THE ROSICRUCIAN
FELLOWSHIP |
|
In the years 1907-08, after being tested for sincerity
of purpose and selfless desire to aid his fellowmen, Max Heindel was selected by the Brothers of the Rose Cross to give out publicly
the Western Wisdom Teachings and thus help prepare
humanity for the coming Age of Universal Brotherhood. By means of intense
self-discipline and devotion to service he earned the status of Lay Brother
(Initiate) in the exalted Rosicrucian Order.
Under the direction of the Brothers of the Rose Cross,
spiritual giants of the human race, Max Heindel wrote The Rosicrucian Cosmo-Conception, an
epoch-making book which has now become the Western World's leading textbook on
occultism. By means of his own spiritual development he was able to verify for
himself much that was given in the Cosmo-Conception, as well as to
gain additional knowledge that later become embodied in his numerous
books.

QUESTIONS
CONCERNING
THE
BIBLE
TEACHINGS
|
WHY IS IT THAT EVERY SECT INTERPRETS THE BIBLE DIFFERENTLY AND THAT EACH ONE GETS AN APPARENT VINDICATION FOR ITS IDEAS FROM THAT BOOK?
DO THE ROSICRUCIANS ACCEPT THE BIBLE AS THE "WORD OF GOD" FROM COVER TO COVER?
WHAT IS THE VIEWPOINT OF THE ROSICRUCIANS CONCERNING THE CREATION OF THE WORLD IN SEVEN DAYS?
IS THERE AN OCCULT SIGNIFICANCE IN THE VARIOUS CHRISTIAN FEASTS OF THE YEAR?
IS THERE ANY AUTHORITY IN THE BIBLE FOR THE THEORY OF REBIRTH?

MY LITTLE TRIBUTE TO OUR BELOVED MAX HEINDEL by Corinne Heline |
For five wonderful years I was privileged to know this wise man and to study and be trained under his guidance and supervision. I've always considered those five years as being the most beautiful and the most spiritually fruitful of my entire life.
I wish I were able to describe this wonderful man to you in the way that I came to know him. When I think of his many admirable characteristics, perhaps the quality I loved most deeply about him was his exquisitely beautiful humility. While he was always eager to be of help and serve wherever possible, he was always firm in keeping the personality of Max Heindel in the background.

THE
BIBLE : WONDER BOOK
OF THE AGES by
Corinne Heline |
Born to the aristocracy of the Old South into the prominent Duke family, she received a classical and religious education that was to prepare her for her life work. She was a life-long student of the ancient mysteries devoting her time to study and meditation. The Rosicrucian Adept , Max Heindel , became her teacher and associate at Mt. Ecclesia in Oceanside, California where she met another New Age pioneer, Theodore Heline who was to become her husband and to undertake the publication of the inspired writings that flowed through her. Her monumental work, The New Age Bible Interpretation, in seven volumes was followed by many other works interpreting the ancient wisdom in termsof the needs of the day. She was truly a New Age Pioneer , opening the way to vast new fields of investigation for those who would know and be a part of the coming world the Aquarian age. Her consciousness far transcended that of her day, and while she had physical plane teachers, her inspiration came from the immortals who overshadowed her, the greatest being our lovely lady, the Madonna who was the
light of her life from early childhood.
